2.6    Que faire pour ne pas rester derri\u00e8re ?D\u00e9fendre quand on est devant, c\u2019est une chose, attaquer quand on est derri\u00e8re c\u2019en est une autre.
\nLe principe de base<\/strong> est le m\u00eame que pour une  course en flotte, il faut trouver le moyen de retrouver rapidement  de l\u2019air frais.
\nDonc la premi\u00e8re chose \u00e0 faire, c\u2019est de d\u00e9croiser.<\/p>\n

2.6.1    D\u00e9croiser<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Tr\u00e8s souvent, que ce soit apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9part ou, encore plus souvent, apr\u00e8s avoir enrouler la marque sous le vent, les 2 voiliers sont sur le m\u00eame bord et si ce n\u2019est pas d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but ou au premier virement, le bateau de derri\u00e8re est couvert et<\/strong> tout virement en phase des 2 bateaux <\/strong>ne donne aucune libert\u00e9 au poursuivant.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nDonc la premi\u00e8re chose \u00e0 faire c\u2019est d\u2019arriver \u00e0 d\u00e9croiser, le plus vite possible <\/strong>
\nIl faut pour cela virer mieux<\/strong> que le bateau devant<\/span><\/div>\n

Dans  le cas ci-dessous  Bleu prend la droite tout en d\u00e9croisant.<\/span><\/span>C\u2019est ce qu\u2019il faut r\u00e9ussir !, sinon Jaune revient tribord et peut bloquer Bleu jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la lay-line  b\u00e2bord, ou de toute fa\u00e7on en gardant la droite.<\/div>\n

2.6.2    Duel de virement<\/span><\/strong>:<\/span><\/div>\n

\nTant que l\u2019on n\u2019a pas d\u00e9crois\u00e9 on a peu de chance  de faire ce que l\u2019on veut.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nIl faut donc allonger en b\u00e2bord afin qu\u2019en cas de sup\u00e9riorit\u00e9 dans les virements, on puisse finir par \u00e9viter le slam dunck et \u00ab coller \u00bb le tribord ou, au moins, l\u2019obliger \u00e0 virer.<\/span><\/div>\n

\nDans le cas contraire, m\u00eame si on gagne du terrain sous l\u2019adversaire,  on se retrouve coinc\u00e9 \u00e0 gauche  du plan d\u2019eau.<\/span><\/div>\n
